| 2004-2005 | Volvo Ocean Race Ericsson Racing Team Project manager for initial system development on behalf of technology consultant Semcon. The projects spanned from innovative worm drive keel tilting system to PLC system for hydraulics. Performed weather studies and developed new totally web-based performance analysis software package, unfortunately never implemented. |
| 2004 | America’s Cup BMW Oracle Racing Sailing team member in BMW Oracle racing as Navigator and performance analysist. Work with the onboard sail cameras and capturing system as well as administration of all onboard computers. Setting up process for monitoring and improving instrument calibration. |
| 2001-2003 | America’s Cup Victory Challenge Working as a Navigator and data analysist in Victory Challenge. As navigator I did all our races we ever did. Other tasks involved leading all performance briefs and debriefs, managing data analysis, coordinating all on-the-water testing. I also was member of the executive group as well as develop most in-house software for navigating / scenarios etc as well as the weather team/boats software. |
| 2000-2001 | Volvo Ocean Race ASSA ABLOY racing team I worked as data analysist and backup navigator. I did the navigating on one of the boat for the whole build-up period for all training, testing and in-house racing. I did pretty much all data analysis in conjunction with testing program as well as software development, weather analysis etc. Originally intended to work until the start, it was extended until Cape town stopover. |
| 1997-2000 | Olympic campaign, Soling GKSS, Göteborg A campaign with a new constellation: Hans Wallén and Magnus Augustson. The campaign resulted in several good results. 1999 was especially good with Gold at both the Worlds and Europeans in Soling match racing as well as in the pre-Olympics. At the Olympics in Sydney we finished 7th. Still once more become “Sailor of the Year” in Sweden with my crew mates. |
| 1993-1996 | Olympic campaign, Soling GKSS, Göteborg This time the campaign resulted in a Silver medal at the Worlds and a Bronze at the Europeans. Additional to that we won the Matchracing Worlds in the Soling class. 1995 we again become the “Sailor of the Year” in Sweden. At the Olympics at Atlanta we finished as 13th, a big disappointment after being ranked No 1 in the World, the whole year leading to the games. During this campaign we did more and more of the Grand Prix match race circuit. |
| 1989-1992 | Olympic campaign, Soling GKSS, Göteborg First campaign with Magnus Holmberg and Björn Alm. After a Silver medal at the Europeans and a Bronze at the Worlds we finished the campaign with a 5th place at the Barcelona Olympics and became “Sailor of the Year” in Sweden. |
